Will there be a Modifier in the 21 Day Fix EXTREME program?

There will be a modifier just like Kat was in the 21 Day Fix, but we do encourage you to start with the 21 Day Fix and move to the Extreme. Autumn has said the EXTREME workouts will be harder, include more weights, and the meal plan will take out the treats and wine…..but it’s just 3 weeks! :) She even said so herself on our call this past Monday, "Put down the wine for 3 weeks people!!" haha 

There will be a cardio fix, pilates fix, Dirty 30 workout, and more resistance training along with plyo moves! So prep yourself by having a resistance band, and some weights, probably around 5-15 lbs. I was able to preview Dirty 30 Extreme and I used 5 the entire time and STRUGGLED!

How long are the workouts?

All of the workouts will be 30 minutes.

Taco Salad

I LOVE mexican, but I can't go anywhere without them LOADING the seasonings and heading home feeling bloated from the excess sodium. So this Taco Salad is where it's at ;)



The goods you'll be needing:

1 lb ground turkey or grass fed beef
shredded lettuce
1/2 green and red pepper
1/4 small onion
Mrs Dash seasoning of choice! {I used Fiesta Lime}
plain 0% Fage greek yogurt
organic salsa
organic cheese
tortilla chips {optional}
1/4 avocado
1 cup black beans

How it goes down:

1. Prepare meat in a skillet on medium heat. Add salt, pepper and Mrs Dash seasonings as needed
2. Add in chopped onion and peppers, and beans
3. Place shredded lettuce on the bottom of your plate
4. Add meat, bean and pepper mixture on top
5. Top with 2 tablespoons cheese, cut up avocado, a few tablespoons of salsa and a dollup of greek yogurt on top for that sour cream feel!
6. If you're feeling frisky, add a few organic corn tortilla chips crushed {my hubby's fave part}
7. ENJOY!

Just Don't Think About It

"Just don't think about it!" <--- Any of you anxiety dwellers ever hear this one? And then want to gauge out their eyeballs? Haha. No, but really...It's HARD dealing with anxiety when others around you can't always relate.



I've touched on my anxiety a bit on my blog and while I don't want the majority of my blogging to be anxiety based, I do want to share struggles here, because lets face it, most times we get the BEST parts of someones life on social media and then we think they live in a fairy tale land filled with rainbows and butterflies, while you're over there just trying to keep your head above the water! Well, everyone has their moments and while I love to focus on the positives, I think that anxiety is something LOTS of people have, but for some reason we keep it hush hush.

Yesterday was one of those tough days for me. Unsure just WHY I felt the way I did but I will tell you that I was up the majority of the night, with a racing heart and just this gut wrenching feeling that I couldn't talk myself out of. Here's what I did throughout the day that was SUPER helpful: (Maybe a few of these things will help you)

1. A friend told me to take long deep breaths in, 10 seconds at a time, then hold that for 10 seconds, releasing slowly.

2. Get OUT of the house. Make yourself leave! I know we want to curl up in a ball but just go do SOMETHING.

3. Workout. I absolutely was dreading this part of my day yesterday, but after I was done, I felt MUCH better.

4. DOVE into my Bible and Daily Devotional (Jesus Calling).

5. Asked my momma to come over and have a Bachelor snuggle fest. Sometimes there is just nothing better than your family telling you ALL is ok. And lastly, a dance party with my babe to top it all off.


Anxiety WANTS to control your life...But you have to remember that its all just a mental game. God controls my life, I control my thoughts and my feelings stem from all of those things. <3

Just don't think about it, ok? ;)

Protein Pancakes will make you Swoon

These little guys are a household fave! Don't all saturdays call for comfort foods? Pancakes are it in our house, but I wanted a healthy option that was packed with protein for my people <3






This made 6: and contains 25 grams of protein per serving (2 pancakes)

What goods you'll need:

1 cup whole wheat flour 
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 organic eggs
Tiny choc chips (west requested lol)
2 small Fage plain Greek yogurt!

Top with berries, organic honey or your choice of syrup!

BBQ Chicken Pizza Flatbreads

It's me again! Just over here trying to make fast foods BETTER, and from home! <3

This week the family came over to watch a big game and of course they all wanted PIZZA! The boys stuck with the delivery stuff and I decided to stick to my plan and make my own. As many of you know, I'm completing the Insanity Max 30 workout program right now and I've been following the meal plan and nutritional guide about 90% of the time. It's helped me see results more quickly and that is motivation to keep going!

I'm on Day 18 of the 60 day program, so of course finding yummy yet healthy options for dinners is KEY!

Here is a fave of mine that makes it way to the dinner table at least once a week:

The goods you'll need:

-organic chicken breast
-trader joe's bbq sauce
-red and green bell peppers chopped
-onion chopped
-banana peppers
-organic shredded cheese
-ezekiel or whole grain tortillas






How to make the masterpiece:

1. Preheat over to 350
2. Take chicken and boil for 15 minutes in water
3. Shred chicken and toss with 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce
4. Take tortillas and place on baking sheet
5. Spread thin layer of BBQ sauce on each one
6. Place shredded chicken on each tortilla
7. Top each tortilla with onion, bell peppers and banana peppers
8. Add 1/4 cup cheese to about 3 tortillas
9. Place in over for about 10 minutes to crisp and melt cheese!
